The central role of music streaming platforms in music access and discovery: 82% of their users use their notice tools.

Listening to music is now a deeply rooted cultural practice in the lives of the French: 90% say they listen to music, 49% of them on a daily basis. This listening takes place primarily via the Internet, with 83% of music lovers listening online, compared with 78% who use other physical means of access (CDs, vinyl records, radio, etc.).

This study was conducted in two phases, qualitative and quantitative, between September and December 2019.
