Summary
Bénédicte Lesage is a member of the college of the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom). She joined Arcom in February 2023.
A leading figure in independent production for over thirty years, Bénédicte Lesage notably created and ran the production company Mascaret Films (1999-2017) before heading Shine Films within EndemolShine France (2017-2019). She produced "La Journée de la Jupe" and the series Guyane, among others.
Since 2020, she has headed Lb. Productions, dedicated to audiovisual creation. Bénédicte Lesage has taken part in a wide range of public-interest initiatives in the audiovisuel and film sectors, including chairing the Syndicat des Producteurs Indépendants (2012-2013) and co-chairing the editorial committee of the Série Series festival in France and Africa.
Bénédicte Lesage joined Arcom in February 2023. She chairs the "Media literacy, ecological transition and public health" working group and vice-chairs the "Audiovisual, film and music creation and production" working group.
