Television and radio
I write to TV channels and radio stations
The law of September 30, 1986 guarantees freedom of communication and editorial freedom for TV channels.
TV channels and radio stations are free to draw up their programs and decide who they invite on set. They are responsible for the content they show.
Arcom does not intervene in channel programming.
You can write to TV and radio stations:
If you have any questions or comments about the content of a program or its scheduling. You will find below the contact details of the mediation services for the main national channels (click on Write to the channels).
To exercise your right of reply to the radio and television stations concerned (to do this, access the directory of operators).
I alert Arcom to a program
Does a program shown on television, radio, catch-upTV or video-on-demand (VOD) seem inappropriate to you? Does it seem to you to undermine respect for others, fail to provide adequate protection for the public, or infringe audiovisual regulations? Alert Arcom.
Our team will broadcast or listen to the footage and examine it for possible breaches of the applicable legal rules. The Arcom college will then decide whether or not to intervene with the service.
How does Arcom respond to your alerts?
When Arcom intervenes with a TV channel or radio station, it's always after a program has been shown, never before.
