Juliette Théry is a member of the college of the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom). She joined the French Superior Audiovisual Council (French Superior Audiovisual Council) in February 2021 and the Arcom in January 2022.
Juliette Théry holds a thesis in contract law and a certificate of aptitude for the legal profession, and has devoted most of her career to competition law.
Juliette Théry was most recently Legal Director at the Competition Authority, defending the decisions adopted by the college before the Court of Appeal. Prior to this, and for six years, she was Deputy General Rapporteur, in charge of the unit with particular responsibility for the agricultural, banking and media sectors. She also worked for two years at the European Commission, participating in the investigation of European cases then underway in the payments and financial services sector.
In 2019, Juliette Théry was named one of the "40in their 40s" outstanding competition regulators worldwide by WomanAtWork.
Juliette Théry joined Arcom in February 2021. She chairs Arcom's "Television and on-demand audiovisual media services" working group. She is also vice-president of the "Protection of rights on the Internet" working group.
