Arcom was alerted following the diffusion on November 4, 2023 on France 2, in the 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. news, of a sequence devoted to the bombing of an ambulance in Gaza. This sequence included, without mentioning its source, a video extract published on social networks by a Gazan influencer who was the subject of controversy, notably after having published several videos congratulating himself on the attack carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

While noting the accuracy of the information provided, the Authority, given the particular sensitivity attached to coverage of the Middle East conflict, pointed out to the channel that it could have usefully indicated that the video excerpt in question had come from the influencer's social network account, as had been done with images of the Israeli army.
