Arcom was alerted following the seventeen-second diffusion on franceinfo, on January 25, 2025 in the 17h/20h news, of a banner that read: " 200 Palestinian hostages regain their freedom ".

Ella noted that the comments accompanying the brief diffusion of the banner did indeed state: " (...) 200 Palestinian prisoners (...) " and noted, firstly, that franceinfo had promptly apologized in a statement published on social network X and read out on air, and secondly, that corrective measures had been swiftly taken by implementing a new procedure for editing banners based on the principle of mandatory double reading.

However, the Authority summoned France Télévisions to demonstrate, in future, greater vigilance with regard to compliance with the schemes stemming from the November 20, 2013 notice on the treatment of international conflicts, civil wars and terrorist acts by audiovisual communication services, particularly when the subject is particularly sensitive.
