Arcom has examined compliance by the 53 pay TV service editors with their obligations to broadcast works for the 2023 financial year.

Following this examination, the Authority intervened :

  • to the publisher of the Mélody service, asking it to respect its obligation to show European cinematographic works throughout its broadcasting schedule and during peak listening hours;
  • to the editors of Men's Up TV and MGG TV, asking them to comply in future with the provisions of article 17 of the European Audiovisual Media Services (AVMS) directive concerning the diffusion of European works by independent producers;
  • to the service editors AB1 and Mangas, asking them to comply in future with the provisions of the aforementioned article 17 concerning the programming of an adequate proportion of recent European works by independent producers.
