Arcom was alerted to a segment of the 24h Pujadas show, broadcast on November 1, 2023 on LCI, during which a journalist commented on the communication of certain non-governmental organizations (NGOs) concerning Israeli hostages held by Hamas in the context of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The Authority noted that, although some of the comments concerning one of these organizations turned out to be erroneous, the journalist had acknowledged and explicitly rectified her error the very next day on LCI.
The Authority therefore did not take any action against the service editor.
