Arcom was alerted to the diffusion, on October 13, 2024 at 9:15 pm on TF1, of the film Joker, accompanied by the sign "forbidden in theaters to children under 12" and the pictogram "-12".
It considered that the film Joker constituted a "program of great violence", thus falling into category IV ( cinematographicworks forbidden to under-16s, programs of an erotic or violent nature), which may only be shown on air from 10:30 pm (except on specialized cinema channels), in accordance with the provisions of the notice of June 7, 2005.
