In a decision dated May 6, 2025 (no. 476367), the Conseil d'Etat decided to reduce to 150,000 euros the amount of the 300,000 euro penalty imposed by Arcom on May 31, 2023 on C8 for breaches of the obligation to respect human rights set out in 2-3-4 of the May 29, 2019 agreement concerning the C8 television service and the obligation to control the airwaves set out in article 2-2-1 of this agreement, following remarks made during the broadcast of October 5, 2022 by the female presenter of the program Touche pas à mon poste ! against the Mayor of Paris.
