Arcom was alerted to the program Conversation avec Anna Cabana, shown on i24news on January 18, 2022, during which a debate focused on Mr. Jean-Michel Blanquer's announcement of the new health protocol applicable to schools.

She noted that, during the sequence, viewers had been informed of the Minister's remarks. Moreover, while the comments made by those present on set tended to play down the extent of the controversy, many much more critical reactions were also shown, so that the balance of viewpoints on the subject under debate appeared to have been respected.

In view of these factors, and given the editorial freedom enjoyed by publishers, the Autorité considered that this sequence did not constitute a breach of the channel's obligations.

Consequently, the Authority did not take any action against the service editor.
