Decision of October 25, 2023 on the numbering of national television services broadcast by terrestrial radio in digital mode and in ultra-high definition.

Having regard to Act no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986, as amended, on the freedom of audiovisual communication, and in particular articles 3-1 and 26 thereof;
Vu le décret n° 2009-796 du 23 juin 2009 modifié fixant le cahier des charges de la société nationale de programme France Télévisions ;
Vu l'arrêté du 24 décembre 2001 modifié relatif à la télévision numérique hertzienne terrestre fixant les caractéristiques des signaux émis ;
Vu l'arrêté du 27 décembre 2001 modifié relatif aux caractéristiques des équipements de réception des services diffusés par voie hertzienne numérique terrestre;
In view of decisions no. 2023-857 and no. 2023-858 of October 25, 2023 concerning the allocation of frequencies to national television service editors for digital and ultra-high definition terrestrial broadcasting;
Considering the following:
A logical number should be allocated to services broadcast by terrestrial hertzian means in digital mode and in ultra-high definition.
After deliberation,
Resolves :
Art. 1. - The logical number 52 is assigned to the France 2 television service for its digital terrestrial broadcasting in ultra-high definition.
Logical number 53 is assigned to the France 3 television service for its terrestrial broadcasting in digital mode and in ultra-high definition from July 10, 2024 to September 10, 2024.
Art. 2 - The national program company France Télévisions may, for receivers compatible with the reception of programs in ultra-high definition and subject to ensuring that they receive these programs in this format, organize the exchange of numbers between France 2 shown in high definition and France 2 shown simultaneously in ultra-high definition.
Art. 3 - The present decision will be notified to the national program company France Télévisions and published in the Journal officiel de la République française.
