Arcom was alerted to comments made during a micro-trottoir, shown on the Kanal Martinique Télévision (KMT) news broadcast on March 22, 2022.
Considering, on the one hand, that the remarks in question constituted incitement to hatred towards a group of people and, on the other, that the Association pour le développement des techniques modernes de la communication, publisher of the KMT service, had failed to control its broadcast, the Authority gave the latter formal notice to comply in future with the provisions of the sixth and seventh paragraphs of article 15 of the law of September 30, 1986, as well as with the stipulations of article 2-2-1 of its agreement.
