Arcom has been alerted to the editorial treatment, between March 17 and 24 2025 by 27 programs on the CNEWS channel, of the publication of the book Une nuit en France, which looks back on the tragedy that took place in Crépol on November 19 2023.
With regard to the obligation to be measured, rigorous and honest, to present the various opposing viewpoints in the context of ongoing legal proceedings, and the obligation to control the airwaves, the Authority has given formal notice to the service's publisher to comply, in future, with the provisions of article 3 of the deliberation of April 18, 2018, as well as with the stipulations of articles 2-3-7 and 2-2-1 of its agreement.
