Fête de la musique" concert shown on June 22, 2024: intervention with France 2
Arcom was alerted to the display of several trademarks on clothing worn by various artists during a concert organized as part of La Fête de la Musique, broadcast on France 2 on June 22, 2024, and also to the conditions of sponsorship of this program.
It found that the display of the brands or their logos was repeated throughout the program, making them identifiable, in breach of the provisions of article 9 of the decree of March 27, 1992 laying down the general principles governing advertising, sponsorship and teleshopping, and that the sponsorship message was not clearly identifiable, in breach of article 18 of the same decree.
As a result, the Authority firmly demanded that the service editor comply with the above-mentioned regulations in the future.
