Arcom was alerted to a sequence from the program Fort Boyard, shown on France 2 on July 20, 2024, during which various non-domestic animals were observed.
It considered that, while the reported sequence did not reveal any behavior constituting a form of animal mistreatment, it did infringe the provisions ofarticle L. 413-13 of the Environment Code.
Consequently, the Authority has reminded the service editor of the entry into force of these schemes on December 2, 2023, and of the resulting obligations.
