High-definition diffusion trials in the French overseas territories

With a view to the transition to high definition (HD) of local digital terrestrial television (DTT) channels in the French overseas territories, Arcom has decided :
- to authorize Martinique Télévision, publisher of the Zitata TV service, and Antenne Réunion Télévision, publisher of the Antenne Réunion service, to carry out HD diffusion trials;
- to carry out preparatory work for the launch of a call for bidders on Reunion Island, with a view to allocating the available radioelectric resource for high-definition diffusion.
