Arcom was alerted to remarks made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during an interview given to BFM TV on April 20, 2022, during the campaign for the second round of the presidential election.

It considered that, during this interview, which was essentially devoted to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Volodymyr Zelensky's statements on current French politics were not such as to constitute explicit support for one or other of the candidates qualified for the second round of the presidential election, nor especially an attempt to interfere in the French electoral process.

Consequently, the AMF did not take any action against the service editor.
