Arcom was alerted about the series It's a Sin shown on France 2 on March 18, 2024, and examined the program's compliance with classification rules, particularly episode 1.

She noted that the " -10 " pictogram appeared late on the screen, at 9:46 pm, and that the words " déconseillé aux moins de 10 ans " (" not recommended for children under 10 ") were not present.

It also considered that this episode should have been accompanied by a category III warning (" not recommended for under-12s "), particularly in view of the presence of scenes and comments of a sexual nature.

As a result, the Authority warned the service editor against repeating offences under articles 2 and 4 of the June 7, 2005 notice concerning the labelling of programmes for younger viewers and the classification of programmes.
