La Matinale Week-End" broadcast on December 10, 2023: legal sanctions against the service editor
As part of the legal sanctions proceedings initiated on April 11, 2024 against Société d'exploitation d'un service d'information (S.E.S.I.) concerning the CNews television service, concerning compliance with the provisions of article 15 of the law of September 30, 1986, and with the stipulations of articles 2-3-2 and 2-2-1 of its agreement, Arcom has decided to impose the financial penalty provided for in article 42-1 of the law of September 30, 1986, and to set the amount of this penalty at 60,000 euros, for breaches observed during the diffusion of the program La Matinale Week-End on December 10, 2023.
This sum will be allocated to the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée in accordance with article L. 116-5 of the Code du cinéma et de l'image animée.
