Arcom was alerted to the "Une semaine dans leurs vies" column shown on the France Inter program Le 13/14 on March 10, 2023, during which a telephone conversation between a doctor specializing in palliative care and the plaintiff was made public without the latter's consent.
It considered that the diffusion of this private conversation, relating to a particularly distressing personal situation for the plaintiff, constituted an invasion of privacy that was not justified by the needs of information.
As a result, the Authority warned Radio France against repeating such a breach, and demanded that in future, it strictly ensure compliance with the provisions concerning privacy.
