The French Superior Audiovisual Council, which became the Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique (Arcom) on January1, 2022, was alerted to a sequence of the program Le 6 à 7 shown on October 19, 2021 on C8, during which the identity of the plaintiff was mentioned.
The Council did not find any negative comments about the plaintiff, and noted that he had not ended the live exchange with the host. The Council therefore considered that there had been no infringement of the plaintiff's personal rights.
Consequently, it did not intervene with the publisher.
