Le 7/10" show broadcast on March 17, 2025: intervention at France Inter

Arcom was alerted following the diffusion, on March 17, 2025, on the program Le 7/10 on France Inter, of a sequence relating to the publication of a book on the Crépol affair and its media coverage.

In this case, although the thesis defended in the book was naturally widely commented on, the Autorité did not find, in the light of the elements of the investigation made public on the date the segment was shown, any manifestly erroneous elements likely to characterize a breach by the publisher.

However, in view of the particular sensitivity of the subject, Arcom deemed it useful to remind the channel of the requirement to present the various opposing viewpoints when referring to ongoing judicial proceedings, under the provisions of article 3 of the deliberation of April 18, 2018 relating to the honesty and independence of news and the programs that contribute to it.
