Arcom was alerted to comments made on the program Le Grand jury, broadcast on RTL on January 12, 2025.
While it took note of the rectification that took place the week following the program, it noted that inaccurate information had been delivered by the guest on set, without having been questioned or contradicted by the host, which characterized a disregard for the requirement of honesty and rigor of information and a lack of on-air control.
Consequently, the Authority has demanded that the service editor ensure that, in future, the issue of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is treated with the utmost rigor on its airwaves, in line with its regulatory and contractual obligations.
