Arcom was alerted to comments made by Pascal Praud on the L'Heure des pros 2 program shown on CNews on December 21, 2023.
It noted that obvious oratorical precautions had been taken, in particular the repeated use of the conditional tense, and that the comments related to a public controversy, which by its very nature authorized greater freedom of expression.
Consequently, the Authority considered that no breach was attributable to the channel, and therefore took no action against the service editor.
