Arcom was alerted to comments made on the L'Heure des pros program shown on CNews on December 22, 2022.

It found that while some of the comments may have caused offence, insofar as the host expressed a personal analysis of a divisive issue, they did not encourage discriminatory behavior, and therefore did not exceed the limits of freedom of expression, which is valid, in accordance with the case law developed by the European Court of Human Rights since the Handyside v. United Kingdom judgment of December 7, 1976, " not only for information or ideas that are favourably received or regarded as inoffensive or as a matter of indifference, but also for those that offend, shock or disturb the State or any section of the population ".

Consequently, the Authority did not take any action against the service editor.
