L'Heure des pros" show broadcast on January 6, 2025: intervention with CNEWS

Arcom was alerted following the diffusion, on January 6, 2025, during the program L'heure des pros on CNEWS, of comments made on the subject of judicial proceedings against a former President of the Republic.

It considered that the comments made on set, devoid of any nuance with regard to the proceedings then in progress, did not meet the requirements of moderation, rigor and honesty in the handling of judicial proceedings, in breach of the provisions of article 3 of the deliberation of April 18, 2018.

It further noted that none of the people on set had moderated or put these statements into perspective, reflecting a lack of on-air control constituting a breach of the stipulations of article 2-2-1 of the channel's agreement.

As a result, the AMF summoned the service editor to demonstrate even greater vigilance in the future with regard to compliance with these obligations.
