Arcom was alerted to an interview with a member of the French government in which he allegedly made defamatory remarks about RATP employees, shown simultaneously on BFM TV and RMC on February 18, 2022.
It informed the plaintiff that it was not within its competence, but that of the judicial judge, to rule on the defamatory nature, where appropriate, of the remarks made during the sequence in question.
Consequently, Arcom did not intervene with the editors of the two services.
