M Radio Lyon and M Radio Méditerranée on DAB+: change of category and licensee

Pursuant to the second paragraph of article 42-3 of the French law of September 30, 1986, and in compliance with the criteria set out in article 29 of the same law, Arcom has approved the change of category and licensee to SARL M Région Développement, with a view to operating the M Radio Lyon service in the extended Lyon area, and the M Radio Méditerranée service in the intermediate Marseille area, as category C services.
These changes are not on a scale likely to compromise the fundamental imperative of plurality, on the one hand, or the fair balance between national networks and independent local, regional and thematic services, on the other.
