Arcom broadcast several mixed martial arts (MMA) programs live on RMC Sport 2, in particular the special program for UFC 285 on March 4, 2023 and Bellator 296 on May 12, 2023.
Following this broadcast, the Authority demanded that the channel's publisher comply with its obligations to protect youngsters, as well as with advertising regulations:
- several excerpts of violent fights were shown at inappropriate times, sometimes accompanied by slow-motion sequences, in disregard of the June 7, 2005 notice on youth signage and program classification;
- several brands appeared on air, outside advertising screens, in disregard of the decree of March 27, 1992 concerning advertising, sponsorship and teleshopping. Furthermore, the provisions of the deliberation of December 4, 2007 concerning incentives to use premium SMS or telephone services were not fully complied with.
