Arcom was alerted to the announcement, in several newscasts shown on France Inter on May 11, 2022, of the death of an American-Palestinian journalist in the West Bank.
Considering that during the news broadcast at 7:00 a.m., contrary to subsequent broadcasts, the station neither used the conditional nor mentioned on air the source of its information, the Authority demanded that Radio France ensure in future that the issue of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is treated on its airwaves with the utmost vigilance with regard to the applicable regulatory provisions.
