At its meeting on June 5, 2024, Arcom assessed the fairness of speaking times, in the treatment of news relating to the European elections, for the period from April 15 to June 2 inclusive.

Following this examination, the Authority :

warned service editors Europe 1 and TV5 Monde against repeating breaches of the rules set out in notice no. 2024-01 of March 6, 2024, and demanded that they give more lists exposure between now and the end of the campaign, and restore the balance of speaking time;
demanded that the France 24 and Sud Radio service editors ensure compliance with the rules set out in recommendation no. 2024-01 of March 6, 2024, and that they exhibit more lists by the end of the campaign and restore the balance of speaking time.
