Arcom has examined compliance by the 7 pay-TV service editors with their obligations to broadcast works for the 2020 financial year.
Following this review, the Authority :
- approached the service editors Eurosport France 1 and Eurosport France 2 to demand that they meet their future obligations to broadcast original French-language cinematic works;
- warned the service editors Générations TV, Trace Africa and Trace Urban against renewing their failure to meet their regulatory and contractual obligations to show audiovisual works (Générations TV and Trace Africa: failure to meet their quotas for European audiovisual works and certain commitments under the AVMS directive; Trace Urban: failure to meet its quotas for European audiovisual works and original EOF and certain commitments under the AVMS directive).
