Arcom was alerted to a sequence shown on BFM TV on April 10, 2022, during which Mr. Emmanuel Macron and Mrs. Brigitte Macron went to their polling station for the presidential election.
It considered that this sequence did not constitute a breach by the channel of the schemes set out in article L.49 of the electoral code, which establishes the reserve period. In fact, no statements or journalistic comments of an electoral propaganda nature were found.
Consequently, the AMF did not take any action against the service editor.
