The French Superior Audiovisual Council, which became the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom) on January1, 2022, was alerted to an interview with the French Minister of Education on the program 8h30 franceinfo: shown on franceinfo on July 28, 2021 :.

It noted that the remarks, which were part of an adversarial interview, could not be considered as characterizing a breach by the publisher of the obligation to provide honest information. Furthermore, it did not find any comments likely to offend personal dignity.

Consequently, the French Superior Audiovisual Council did not intervene against the publisher.
