A complaint was lodged with Arcom following the diffusion on Europe 1 on 20 March 2026 ,during the programme *Europe 1 Soir Week-end*, of comments made by Rodolphe Cart regarding Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
Meeting as a full panel on 17 June 2026, Arcom deliberated on the matter.
Whilst Arcom considered that the segment in question did not constitute a breach by the station of its obligation not to encourage discriminatory behaviour, it nevertheless wished to bring to the broadcaster’s attention the public outcry caused by this segment.
