Arcom was alerted about the program La France face à la guerre, shown on TF1 on March 14, 2022, to which four of the twelve presidential candidates were not invited.

As it has had occasion to point out in previous elections, and in accordance with the case law of the Conseil d'État, a channel's choice to organize political interviews is exclusively its editorial responsibility. Under no circumstances does Arcom have the power to impose the presence of a speaker in a particular program.

Arcom is careful to ensure that, in accordance with the rules set out in its notice of October 6, 2021 for the election of the President of the Republic, all candidates benefit from fair presentation and access to the airwaves, in a form to be determined by radio and television stations.

Consequently, the Authority did not intervene against the service editor.
