Arcom was alerted about the documentary "L'envers du béton" (The other side of concrete) shown as part of the programme Le Monde en face, on December 5, 2021 on France 2.

It noted that this program was a documentary, and that it was therefore naturally marked by the viewpoint of its author, who can be critical in his apprehension of reality.

In any case, the Authority did not find any manifestly erroneous information in this documentary, and noted that, on the one hand, its diffusion was followed by a debate during which various experts were able to provide additional elements of analysis and, on the other hand, that the female presenter of the program relayed the remarks of the president of the concrete industry.

Consequently, the Authority did not take any action against the service editor.
