Pursuant to the roadmap for general calls for applications for the 2021-2026 period adopted on December 16, 2020, the French Superior Audiovisual Council, which became the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom) on January 1, 2022, opened a public consultation on October 27, 2021, prior to launching a call for FM applications in the Poitiers CTA area.
The purpose of this public consultation was twofold: firstly, to take stock of the economic situation of the radio markets in question, and secondly, to determine the areas in which a search for new frequencies could be done.
The deadline for contributions was November 26, 2021.
Arcom received responses from fourteen players in the radio sector.
