Public consultation of October 7, 2021 prior to the launch of a call for FM candidates in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region: summary of contributions

Pursuant to the roadmap for general calls for applications for the 2021-2026 period adopted on December 16, 2020, the French Superior Audiovisual Council, which became the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom) on January 1, 2022, opened a public consultationon October 7, 2021, prior to the launch of a call in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) region.

The purpose of this public consultation was twofold: firstly, to take stock of the economic situation of the radio markets in question, and secondly, to determine, with a view to drawing up the frequency plan, the areas where new frequencies will be sought.

The deadline for contributions was October 29, 2021.

Arcom received responses from sixteen players in the radio sector and one private individual.
