Public consultation prior to the launch of a call for FM applications in the Toulouse CTA area (geographical perimeter of the former Midi-Pyrénées region): summary of contributions
In application of the roadmap for general calls for applications for the 2021-2026 period adopted on December 16, 2020, the French Superior Audiovisual Council (which became Arcom on January 1, 2022) opened a public consultation on December 1, 2021, prior to launching a call for FM applications in the jurisdiction of the Toulouse CTA (geographical perimeter of the former Midi-Pyrénées region).
The aim of this public consultation was twofold: firstly, to take stock of the economic situation of the radio markets in question, and secondly, to determine the areas in which a search for new frequencies could be carried out.
The deadline for contributions was January 6, 2021.
Arcom received responses from 24 contributors, all players in the radio sector.
