Arcom has been alerted to the editorial line of the public media, particularly France Info and France Inter.

Under the French Freedom of Communication Act of September 30, 1986, Arcom is responsible for ensuring plurality in the expression of thought and opinion in the audiovisual media. This mission is carried out in accordance with the rules laid down by the French Superior Audiovisual Council, now Arcom, on November 22, 2017 and January 4, 2011.

Within this managerial framework, and subject to compliance with their ethical obligations, Arcom does not interfere with the terms under which publishers report on public debate.

Furthermore, the Authority has no jurisdiction over the ethical obligations of journalists.
