Arcom was alerted following the diffusion on CNews, in the program Punchline on January 22, 2024, of remarks made by the female presenter and the display on air of the channel's upside-down logo.
It noted that the statements reported, in which the journalist expressed her support for the farmers' movement, took the form of an editorial, which by its very nature authorized greater freedom of expression.
Generally speaking, the Authority considered that the CNews channel had not breached its obligations, particularly in view of the time-limited nature of these sequences.
