Arcom was alerted to a humorous segment shown on the TMC program Quotidien on October 11, 2022, in which a column by Dr. Brigitte Milhau on the effects of cocaine consumption, previously broadcast on the CNews channel, was repeated.
While noting the humorous nature of the segment, the Authority felt that, in view of the subject matter and the potential consequences for public health and public order, it would have been preferable for it to be explicitly stated that Dr. Milhau had in no way minimized the effects of cocaine consumption in her column.
