Arcom was alerted about the program Quotidien, broadcast on April 25, 2024 on TMC, during which a guest was wearing sneakers whose logo was clearly visible on air.

She noted that the model of the shoes was indicated three times, making it perfectly identifiable. In addition, the female presenter directed the conversation towards the guest's favorite brand of shoes, giving the sequence an apparent promotional character.

It considered that the repeated visualizations and quotations of the brand constituted surreptitious advertising, in breach of the provisions of article 9 of the decree of March 27, 1992.

Consequently, the Authority warned the service editor against repeating such a breach.
