Arcom was alerted to a sequence shown on TMC's Quotidien program on September 22, 2025, during which subtitled images of a conversation between Cédric Jubillar and his lawyers in a courtroom were broadcast.

In the Authority's view, the diffusion of this sequence did not constitute a breach of the channel's obligations.

However, Arcom reminded the channel of the rules applicable to the recording and diffusion of images or words in a courtroom, compliance with which is the responsibility of the judicial authorities. It also summoned the channel to exercise the utmost vigilance in its media coverage of ongoing judicial proceedings, particularly with regard to respect for privacy, the presumption of innocence and the proper conduct of proceedings.
