Arcom was alerted to comments about Syrian refugees in the special edition devoted to the Russian offensive in Ukraine, shown on BFM TV on February 24, 2022.
It considered that these remarks, even if they appeared clumsy, did not constitute an affront to human dignity and were not intended to encourage discriminatory behavior. They do not therefore constitute a breach of the publisher's ethical obligations.
Consequently, the AMF did not take any action against the service editor.
