In response to a request from the Government of French Polynesia for the creation of a category B French- and Tahitian-language news radio service called Tahiti Nui FM, Arcom decided, pursuant to article 25 of the Organic Law of February 27, 2004, to respond favorably to this request and to negotiate an agreement with Tahiti Nui Télévision, the conclusion of which is a prerequisite for the granting of permission to operate the service.
