The matter has been referred to Arcom concerning interventions by representatives of La Manif pour tous on CNews.

The notice for the election of the President of the Republic on October 6, 2021, which came into force on January 1, 2022, stipulates in particular that " speaking time includes all interventions by a candidate [...] as well as interventions in support of his or her candidacy". It specifies that"support is considered to be any person who explicitly summons a vote in favor of a candidate ".

Consequently, if interventions by representatives of La Manif pour tous were to express explicit support for a candidate, they would be taken into account by the channels concerned as part of the candidate's speaking time, and declared as such in the statements they are required to send to Arcom on a regular basis.
