Arcom was alerted to comments made on the Temps de parole program, shown on January 10, 17 and February 5, 2025, concerning the presence of migrants in the Cavani camp in Mayotte.
It considered that the comments in question could be construed as encouraging discriminatory behavior and inciting hatred or violence on racial or ethnic grounds. It also noted that the female presenter's interventions had failed to ensure on-air control.
Consequently, the Authority found that these sequences failed to comply with the obligations set out in article 15 of the law of September 30, 1986, as well as articles 2-3-2 and 2-2-1 of the channel's agreement, and warned the service editor against any repetition of such breaches.
